Musee Automobile Reims-Champagne, Reims

We took our 5 year old son here during a stopover in Reims and he loved it, as he likes old, quirky cars, like his dad 😊 Some really great units in here, the museum is a hidden gem. Lost count of how many pictures I took and sent to the lads back home. Happy to support smaller independent museums like this.

Very cool. If you are not a huge fan of cars, it's a fast activity, otherwise, I guess you could stay some hours there. But anyway, even not being a fan of cars, it's cool to see some very old models from WWI and WWII. There is some history about each car on its descriptive card, that lays just in front of it. It's worth the visit.

I am a big fan of cars and car museums. Unfortunately this one is in need of some attention. The space is a drab industrial building and the focus is on quantity over quality. The cars were jammed together with some actually touching each other. It was not possible to walk around any of the cars so you could not see inside them. The condition of the cars generally left a lot to be desired. I don’t expect them to provide signage in English but it would have made my visit more rewarding. One little thing that really bugged me - every car had a highly visible sticker with the name of the museum website. Some were just on the windscreen but others were right across the bonnet. Overall there were some interesting vehicles but they could have been displayed much better.

Cool car museum with a eclectic colection, great to see cars that are ussually not in display anywhere else.

Easy to find with a lot of space in free parking. Museum is focused on old French automobiles and motorcycles. You will find brands you never heard of. Some of them are renovated, some still wait for their turn. Also there is big exposition of toy cars. Recommended if you have boys that are into cars 🙂
