  • As Beauval attempts to grow ever larger spare a thought for those who don’t want blocked walkways with perhaps ten percent of the zoo out of action. The idea that Kilimanjaro is your MCD equivalent...

  • The tiger area looked a bit depressing and they looked a bit anxious, but the zoo as a whole was great and I would visit again.

  • Really big with a huge range of animals and exhibits so prepare for lots of walking. Can get busy so plan for a full day, closes at 20.00 but most have left by 18.00 so you get a good couple of hours to revisit your favourites close up. Otherwise, a 2 day visit is great value. Food and drink of good quality, and fair pricing. Only negative was that one zone (the one with the dome) has almost no translations to English like in the other areas.
  • One of the best zoos I have seen. The sheer amount of animals they have is impressive. We spent more than six hours there and have barely seen all animals. There is a cable car running from on side of the zoo to the other that gives you a good view and helps getting from one side to the other. The compounds of the animals seem to be larger than in other zoos (that are often within a city) and some animals seem to be more active. The glass dome with the jungle inside is especially impressive due to its size. Highly recommended. You should at least spend 5-6 h here.
  • A superb zoo, so many animals to see, we just about did it in a day, but we were shattered at the end. It was very busy, but we still managed to get a good view of all the animals. Cable car was brilliant, and lots of food outlets, we made sure we ate early to beat the rush. An amazing day!
  • The zoo is huge! We could cover the whole place in one day includes watching both animal shows. It would be best to arrive before 10.30 am. Bird show is absolutely a must see. Despite of many visitors we didn't feel over crowded at all. The animal enclosures are larger tha most zoo i have ever been to which was very nice. However, by evening (4-5 pm.) Many animals seemed to start going to sleep. Perhaps it is winter so it gets dark sooner. The restaurants are varies we took the buffet at the dome. Food was great. Overall we had a great time and would recommend anyone to visit.
  • The zoo deserves its reputation as the best in Europe fabulous facility, loads of conservation work, massive diversity of animals from smallest to very large. Well worth the visit, facilities for visitors are good, massive carparks pleasant helpful staff. The tropical dome is a must see.
