Chateau Laniote, Saint-Emilion

Chanced upon this winery and absolutely loved it. Arnaud and his wife runs a lovely winery, the tour was the right length which gave us an appreciation of the process without being boring. The wine was fantastic and I got a bottle. The tour was whimsical, due to Arnauds magic tricks and his passion for wine. He answers questions earnestly without making me feel silly for asking. I hope I get a chance to return!

Lovely, family run winery. World class tour. The host was incredibly friendly, engaging and informative. He did the whole tour in two languages to help our ignorant English selves, which includes magic tricks! Delicious wine to boot.

We had a great time at the château, the video about the year round work with the vines and fields, was very comprehensive. Small family business with a lot of love for their work, which shows. The wine was fantastic and honestly the best we have ever tasted. 10/10 would recommend

The winery happily accommodated our last minute booking and were very welcoming and friendly. We were given a great tour by Arnaud who is a very entertaining and knowledgeable character. We will be recommending Laniote to our friends. We bought a bottle of wine which we will keep for a special occasion.
