It's an interesting site. Man is nearly unvincible once man sets somethingin his mind. If you are unable to visit because it is closed, you can at least do the walk there from the parking and find the pictures from the inside of the Ermitage here.

Spectacular csnyon gorge, limestone cliffs, htavity defying road way and 15c hermitage built into vliffs with cave chapel. Intrepid can continue down to river or hike along the cliff face.

Great place that you just have to see for yourself. I'll take the time to look up the history of this place. If you go from the grotto to the parking lot there is another small cave. Maybe someone else will bother and squeeze through for photos :D

The galamus hermitage is a magnificent place for lovers of nature and places of worship. The place can be reached either by the path taken at the time of the rather crude but so magnificent hermit, or by an easier path for those who are less reckless.
