TakSea, Saint-Raphael

A good day out on the water, the guide only spoke French so we didn't get all of the information. I'd recommend the trip as you get a lovely boat ride out from St Raphaël east along towards cannes. The snorkeling is great fun and the ride back at speed is fun. (Caution if you have a bad back though you may not enjoy that bit).

We chose for the departure from Frejus. Before we booked online, i contacted TAKSEA to ask if the tour is also possible in english. On the phone they told us that the tour is also possible in english. When we arrived the captain couldn't speak english, so i guess a miscommunication or someting like that. We where a little dissapointed. However, the tour was really great! If you have the change to take the tour, just do it! The coastline is very beautifull and also the swimming break with snorkeling and a nice glass of rosé very nice!

fun experience even if the sea was wild and we were surfing big waves. We enjoyed a great swim in the Esterel calanche.

We had a brilliant time on the 2.5 hour trip we went on to L'Esterel. There were 4 of us in our party and had the boat to ourselves (I am told that they normally don't run with less than 8, but as they had a cancellation and couldn't get in touch with us, the trip went ahead). It is a great mix of some fast, exciting riding with some slow weaving in and out of the beautiful coves around the coast. We had a choice of where we wanted to swim and snorkel, rounded off with a lovely glass of local rose wine. Antoine really looked after us, speaking great English and gave us some a very interesting commentary about the history and local land marks. Thoroughly recommended.
