Typical Chinese Suzhou Garden involving wide array of amenities.

No offense to grumpy this garden is very beautiful. And it's not a Japanese garden but a Chinese one. We spoke with the owner who explained to us that visits were rare and that the garden was maintained by her and a few volunteers. The visit is definitely worth it

Quite disappointing even if the welcome is friendly because the garden is not maintained, no water in the basins which are not cleaned. Unmowed gardens. It's a shame because it could be very beautiful with a little maintenance and regular work. Access is not very well indicated, however we have access to parking and dogs are allowed but of course on a leash. We explain how Chinese and Japanese gardens are organized and their differences.

CHINESE garden (and not Japanese unlike the ignorant ones you can read) incredible, much bigger than you might think and totally worth its price of 7€, given that the maintenance and the park are held by a elderly person alone. There is no shortage of photo spots and the owner made a point of explaining to us the architecture, the origin and the meaning of the different parts of the garden. To visit absolutely!

What is advertised: a Japanese garden. My impression: it's like Chinese restaurants that advertise themselves as Thai. And where only copies of excellent Thai cuisine are served. This garden is the same. A flagrant lack of maintenance which spoils the pleasure of a place which could be enchanting and which is not. Ponds and flower beds not cleaned, paths full of weeds, architectural elements that are in disrepair. A real disappointment at €7 entry
