Designated a Remarkable Garden by the Ministry of Culture, Eyrignac et ses Jardins en Dordogne regularly wows visitors with its geometrically shaped flora. Look for a variety of tree and flower species, especially yew, boxwood, and cypress. Created in the 18th century to mimic the gardens outside an Italian villa (with some French twists) the oasis has been restored recently by its owners--members of the family who've owned the property for the last 500 years.     They let you stay all day in the gardens and the gardens are just gorgeous even in the winter. Picnic tables outside the gardens, so you can visit in the morning, take break, have a nice relaxing...

    Great garden with great architecture and horticulture. Lovely place and hideout to take a walk, to enjoy the nature and the art of tree pruning. The gardeners do quite a fantastic job here to keep this place and its trees and hedges in shape. There is also a cafe nearby which you can visit without paying entrance fee to the garden.

    An atmospheric and wonderfully manicured 500 years old garden; an “Alice in the Wonderland” - like experience (but in the real world!). The garden displays multiple themes: Asia, French and English styles. A wonderful experience full of surprises in each corner: sculptures, fountains, majestic trees… 🥰
