Sampled some very enjoyable wines from here in a very well set-up tasting room. Warm welcome from the lady inside who gave us about 5 wines to try. Google translate to the rescue as our French was poor and the lady's English didn't include wine terminology. We took a chilled bottler of white to enjoy during a picnic later that day - definitely hit the spot!

The owner is very friendly and the organic wines are great, particularly the sparkling white. Unlike others around it, this one is open and friendly on Saturdays.

If the unicorn is a legend, your Saumur blanc is ready to enter it. Bought at Les Tonnelles in Saumur to accompany some local cheeses, it was a real treat. I promise, on my next visit to the area I will come and test the reds!
