  • Well worth a visit, kids loved it here as did we. Lovely day out and price is really good too.
  • Loved it, a really great visit, so interesting If there was a coffee shop it would of been 5 star
  • Well set out and very interesting. Quite busy even though at the end of the season. English guide booklet provided which worked well. The special international torture exhibit was a bonus and was in multiple langues including English.
  • Wonderful! This strange house clinging to the mountain with its washbasins carved in the rock is full of things ranging from antique furniture to weapons, tools, clothes and everyday objects of the last. If you love old things it will be a paradise. You can climb up to the top and look down. At the end there was a scary exhibit about tortures and a shop for souvenirs.
  • This is a fascinating place. In effect a house fortified by building it into the cliff face. The buildings have been restored and the rooms contain reconstructions and examples of the fireman's that would have been seen at its peak. These rooms show how the kitchens, reception and dining rooms, armoury and store rooms would have looked, and for those with a strong stomach, there is the dungeon complete with the equipment for 'enhanced interrogation' or torture.
