HiRO DiVE BORA BORA, Bora Bora

We had an amazing diving experience with Hiro. Highly recommend her to everyone. Her dive are private groups and you're not with other family, it makes it extra special especially if you have never dive before. I highly recommend the coral garden location so make sure to let her know, we saw a ton of fish including clown fish. Also make sure you ask Hiro for her video/photo packaged. She did a awesome job putting together our whole dive into a video with music from start to end.

Had the best experience diving with Hiroko! I much prefer private dives with individual attention than going with the larger dive companies. I’ve only had 10 dives under my belt and Hiroko was extremely helpful in giving me pointers and helping me improve. We were picked up at our hotel dock and Hiroko was extremely professional, passionate and knowledgeable about diving. We did two, two tank dives and got to see manta rays, sharks, eagle rays and so many amazing sea creatures! Highly recommend diving with her and cannot wait to come back for more dives with her in the future!

My newlywed wife and I visited French Polynesia for 12 days and went diving in 3 different islands. Hiroko provided us BY FAR the best experience and hospitality. In my 15 years of diving, she has been one of, if not, the best. She has her own boat so all of the dives are private. That's much better than going with Top Dive and being with a group of people you don't know and dive with larger groups. As for the diving itself, she took us to some of the best sites to see manta rays, black tip reef sharks, and eagle rays. Each of our 4 dives with her were unique and incredible. Hiroko was so kind and accommodating to my wife; whom is relatively newer with less than 8 dives. She was patient and gave her pointers when needed. I could not recommend another dive place in Bora Bora more than Hiroko's. She is simply amazing!

What an amazing experience we had with Hiro. This was our first open water dive and she was patient and thorough. Hiro made sure we were feeling at ease. Loved her tea and biscuit after the dive. She was on time and had everything ready for us. I cannot express enough how awesome Hiro is. She's very professional and took wonderful care of us, to have the best diving experience.

Hiroko is amazing!!! This was our second trip where we got to dive with Hiroko over a total of 7 dive days. Hiroko got us certified last year and because of the great experience and conditions in Bora Bora, we decided to also do our advanced open water classes with Hiroko on this trip along with a number of fun dives too. Hiroko probably has around 10,000 dives under her belt . . . that's not a typo with an extra zero. Her experience and knowledge of the area is amazing. Each day, she was able to select dive spots with the best conditions given the weather, currents, etc. and take us to see what we wanted to see. Because it is a private dive service, we were able to get to places like Anau to see manta rays before any other dive boats arrived. Other divers were getting in the water or on their way by the time we left which made the experiences that much more memorable as we were the only ones there for the majority of those dives. Another advantage of a private dive service is being able to spend the time to look at the things you want. For example, we wanted to video and photo small gobies or work on macro shots and got to take as much time as we wanted. Speaking of time, given her experience, you'll hit your reserves well before she does and can enjoy longer dives as a result. Most of our dives were a full hour or longer and ended because I was the air hog amongst us. Hiroko's reviews speak for themselves as to the overall service she provides. About the only other thing I can add is how great it is to take classes from her if your schedule allows (you'll want say 5 days of diving available so you can do fun dives too!). I can't think of a better place or environment to do training dives. On each and every one of our training dives, we got to take pictures and video which made the training dives fun and enjoyable. If time is short though, I do recommend just getting out to do the fun dives to enjoy all the underwater sights Bora Bora has to offer. The only other advice I can offer is to book early! She is a solo operator so spots fill up FAST especially during busier times. We've already planned our trip for next year and have given her the dates already to ensure we get the privilege of diving with Hiroko again!
