We had so much fun. They sent a shuttle to pick us up/drop us off. They drive around the island from stop to stop picking up people like a bus. It was nice to be able to see different parts of the island. We were greeted with rum oj cocktails and you get to walk around the grounds checking out the little museum rooms. There is a show before and after dinner. You get to see/learn how they use the land to cook their traditional dishes. The buffet is MASSIVE. You will try pretty much everything that's exclusive to Polynesian culture. Be warned, it's some really weird stuff and tons of different flavors but we loved the experience. The two guys who run everything are very entertaining and theatrical... Good comedians. The show after dinner starts at about 9/915pm and is more like a play. They sing in traditional Tahitian but the narrator tells the story in both English and French. The show is a little over an hour long and the last portion of it is the fire dancing. It really was a super cool experience and we are glad we did it. Definitely worth the $115usd / person we spent on it.

Beautiful cultural experience. Wish we could have visited when they had a performance going. Everyone was so friendly. Love the people of French Polynesia. Definitely a must visit!

I loved the Tiki Village because there was a little story behind the dance and because it had a lot of culture into it. Definitely one of my favorite places in Moorea! A must visit!

This was a lovely cultural experience. We were greeted at the door with a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and once checked in were given free reign to walk the grounds. We learned about famous celebrities that have called Tahiti home (Marlon Brando, Paul Gauguin, and Jacques Brel) and the art of creating Tahitian dance costumes. The grounds were beautiful and everyone got to see the glorious sunset from the beach. Our wonderful, knowledgeable, and funny guide for the evening was so kind to have done his entire talk in French and English, and there was a lot of information. I was very appreciative since I am still working on my French. We learned how to build a traditional Ahima’a (oven in the ground using hot volcanic rock) and the meal that was put in the oven hours earlier was revealed. FYI - I'm vegetarian and when I realized what we were seated around and that I was about to see a cooked pig I nearly skipped this portion. I'm glad I stayed because the information was very interesting, most of the food they presented was vegan or at least covered in pots or banana leaves, and I just didn't look at the pig so it worked out. Afterwards while the buffet was being set up we were taught how to properly dehusk and open a coconut and how to make objects with coconut palms. We also learned about Polynesian drums. Dinner was served next and it was spectacular! Even for vegetarians. Save room for dessert, it was my favorite part 🤤 Following dinner was an intense and exhilarating dance performance, absolutely amazing with a great story and many costume changes. And my favorite, lots of fire! Overall you are getting 3-4 hours worth of culture, entertainment, and delicious food from a beautiful venue with your ticket. I highly recommend a night at Tiki Village.

Had a good time at the evening show (9-10pm), even though it felt a bit like a high school performance sometimes (the performers have a large difference in terms of experience / preparation), and they sing quite out of tune overall. Don’t have any other point of comparison, first local show we see, but very entertaining and worth the money overall: if you know what to expect! (We saw several show in Vegas last month and there is no comparison in terms of level. Just enjoy being on an island and learn about local customs!)
