Voil'a Moorea, Papetoai

Voila Moorea is an incredible experience! Captain Leo was amazing. We did both the day snorkeling tour and the sunset tour and would highly recommend to anyone. The boat is wonderful and with a smaller group you really get to experience all the beauty of the wonderful Island. We hope to be back again!

There isn’t enough praise and recommendation you can give to Voila Moorea! My beautiful bride and I chartered their “Celebrating Romance” sunset catamaran cruise and it was that AND more. Captain Leo picked us up right from our dock and we hopped aboard Voodoo to sail around the beautiful lagoons and bays of Moorea. It was a trip befitting of royalty, and it even came with a crown. We were pampered to, fed local delicacies, drank regional champagne, and dwelled in the sun drenched beauty of tropical island bliss. Filled with romance, local history, nautical adventure and breathtaking memories, we were dropped back right to our dock. Don’t miss an opportunity to experience Voila Moorea and be sure to also explore their snorkeling adventures as well! Thank you Captain Leo!

We took a last minute trip with this company after seeing their catamaran while on another excursion. Loved that they only take out a small group of people (8). We snorkeled with sharks, rays, visited a coral garden and even saw underwater tiki statues. The staff was top notch and we had a lot of fun onboard Taboo.

We did the sunset sail and it was thoroughly excellent! Pickup at the hotel was prompt. Family run business but everything was very well orchestrated (got to the sunset spot right on time, see photos). Super pleasant atmosphere, clearly they love what they do!

My husband and I were traveling to Moorea with another couple, so we booked the private snorkeling tour aboard the Taboo catamaran. TL;DR: Book the private tour. It's worth it. We were taken to three separate snorkel sites: one that featured sharks and stingray; one that featured all array of tropical fish and coral; and one that featured submerged Tahitian statues of cultural import. We were given free reign of the snorkel sites and the boat, and we were allowed to choose which site to spend the most time at. The captain and his crew were very polite and clear with instructions, and they were enthusiastic about teaching us about the fish we were going to encounter. The team also offered us a tray of fresh-cut, locally sourced fruit, as well as two rounds of colorful Mai Tais. From start to finish, we were charmed with the entire tour. The private tour made for an extremely relaxed experience; we felt well taken care of, and to us, it was definitely worth the money. When we return to Moorea, we'll be visiting Voila Moorea again — this time for the sunset cruise!
