So we went to three islands, Moorea, Bora Bora and finally Tahiti(Papeete). On the other islands we were told to go to the Tahiti Pearl Market and we are glad we did! They are real professionals, you choose your settings and the pearls. They have every quality and color. We ended up getting a double pendant necklace and a bracelet with higher quality and it is beautiful. The people are so nice, no hard sales and they explain everything. We got to watch our pearls being set. As someone who travels the world we highly recommend this business. If you are lucky you'll get helped by Yuka!

Got a bracelet for my daughter and single pearls for coworkers. Got a quick lesson from the Japanese sales lady, basically the bigger, the rounder, and less imperfection the better. Prices go up very quickly, from 10 dollars a pearl to thousands of dollars a pearl.

Best place to visit if you want to buy quality black pearls. They offer a free pick up and drop off to town from your hotel. The staff working there are so lovely and really kind bought a few gifts for family and they were all pleased with it. The team helped find the perfect pearls and did not pressure us buying anything.
