  • Many statues. The most interesting items for me was the tatoo equipment from the past. Worth a look. Short stop and good for a small group of adults.

  • The artwork on display was beautiful and truly captivating. Unfortunately the other exhibits were not open as there were some renovations underway at the time. None the less though the “escales en polynesie” exhibit was beautiful.
  • The facilities look great from the outside but the grand opening is still 3 weeks away so I wasn't able to go inside. It's great to hear it will finally reopen after being closed so many years
  • Beautiful museum to experience the culture and a bit of the islands history. The garden is beautiful and you get a beautiful view of Moorea from the black sand beach.
  • All the museums on the island were closed and we went to every single one in hopes of learning more about the island's history and culture. Though they appeared as "OPEN" on Google, they were closed onsite for renovations. I guess this is a good thing, but a bummer for those who are history buffs and hoping for another fun activity to kill time. Maybe next time...
  • As others have noted, the museum is still largely closed (as of June 2021), so you may choose to take a pass on this until you get the full exhibits available to you.
