Harrison W. Smith Botanical Garden, Taravao

I had the entire garden to myself on a rainy weekday afternoon in November. No one was there to collect an admission fee and the gate to the section that (maybe) housed the tortoises was locked. Pleasant enough for a 30 minute stroll. The Mape trees in the wetland area were truly impressive.

Very nice and peaceful Botanical garden to visit for free. There is a big parking area to park outside and also after you pass the gate to the right. The area is not huge, so you can visit it all around in 30 min. You will see small lagoons, many types of plants and trees and different types of birds and for sure roosters all around.

Beautiful park on the island of Tahiti. It's one of the cleanest parks I've ever visited. I'm a DIY photographer, and the scenes here are awesome! Next to the park's parking area is a large, open beach where you can go for a swim or just cool off. A great place for kids and seniors, alike.

This was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. Majestic trees, lush ponds with Lilly's, good trails. We spent more time here than I expected.

This large garden offers a lot of different biomes and specimens, and is worth spending some time. The signage at each plant needs some maintenance, but otherwise a very pleasant place to commune with the natural world.
