  • I was very disappointed when I visited the Paul Gauguin Museum because I loved his paintings and all the museum had from him were reproductions. One of the staff explained museum could not afford to buy any of his paintings, but I still felt cheated. Several years later, I visited another museum with a few of Paul Gauguin’s paintings, Okay, goal reached.
  • It's a shame the museum Gaugin still closed. Taking one hour drive from downtown. However, the view along the road and the botanical garden are beautiful.
  • The museum is closed for renovations. So if yo go there, about all you can do is visit the nearby Botanical Gardens.
  • Closed. According to locals already for years and does not look that it will be re-opened soon.
  • The museum has NOT reopened. Still looks abandoned
