I visited Deep Sea Pearls 3 times during my last 3 days in Bora Bora. I was helped by store manager Sacha all 3 times. I gotta say that Sacha was very knowledgeable about local pearls, very professional and gave helpful tips on what to look for when I was making my selection that's why I kept going back. There were tons of similar stores over there but this was the only one I went to. You only need to tell Sacha about your budget and the style and color you are looking for, he will make good recommendations for you. Sacha did not try to sell me the more expensive ones, instead, when I tried to get a pearl that was more expensive and a little bit foggy he tried to explain to me why the cheaper and smaller ones were better. I just can't recommend this store and Sacha enough based on the services I received. If you are looking for a place with great pearls with reasonable prices, just go there!

To be honest, I didn't know much about pearls prior to walking into this shop. I'm not one for jewelry but I wanted something to remember my trip to Tahiti. The owner was extremely knowledgable and helpful without being pushy. She explained the differences in the grades of pearls and helped me pick out a beautiful piece that I'm sure I'll be wearing for a long time.
