Katchikally Crocodile Pool, Bakau

The workers are very nice and welcoming. The museum has a lot of information and items you can see. I enjoyed my time there and was happy that I was able to see and touch 1 crocodile. The path was nice and we were able to see some big trees. Someone bought bananas and started to feed the monkeys. Basically you can see both crocodiles and monkeys here. If you only have time to go to 1 of the parks I would recommend the crocodile pool over the monkey park due to the kindness of the staff members.

Nice place but a bit run down. The entrance smells terribly. Other than that the guides are informative and it’s exciting to be close to the crocodiles. The museum in the beginning is very interesting too. I wish they would receive more funding or help to update the area.

Loved this experience. My partner did too, the crocodiles are just basking in the dappled shade you hardly notice half of them. The staff are accommodating taking pictures for you. And the museum is very culturally interesting.

KACHIKALLY CROCODILE POOL= I have too much respect about these kind of animals. However, to touch one of them is something exciting and a unique experience for me! Lots of them are lying outside the pool some with open mouth some are maybe sleeping ?! am not so sure :-) But they are silent if you are silent too and not scare them. They don't eat meat because they are vegetarian crocodiles. That's why they are not aggressive towards human meat!!! However i was still watchful!

Fun adventure and remember to be brave by touching the 🐊 when posing for a picture. The museum is very informative and interesting. There are lots of Monkeys around also … it’s right in the heart of town.
