Cradle of Wine Marani, Signagi

Amazing place, Beautiful and the view is WOW! It was such a lovely and fun experience, SUPER RECOMMENDED!!! The host Paul is very hospitable, funny and has a lot of knowledge, it was nice listening and learning about Georgian ways and traditions from him. If you're in Sighnagi GO THERE!!! :)

A really great experience and I have to say, the best value from any of the other tastings I experienced or inquired about. We had 6 very delicious wines (1 white, 1 "green", 1 "amber", 1 rosé, and 2 "black"/red) along with cheese, bread, and some really fantastic sunflower oil. The total cost was 35₾ per person. They have a really gorgeous balcony where you can take your time sipping and snacking... it was very fantastic. Levan was very friendly. I was only a little disappointed that I had maybe read too many reviews and expected to hopefully see the qvevri where the wine is made or drink out of the cute clay cups which some other people have said were really nice parts of their experiences.

Although the winery is a bit further from the main town compared to others, it it well worth the walk. The views were the best of any Sighnaghi, the wine was delicious, and the owner was incredibly nice.

Wine was weak and the host was not at all talkative maybe it isnt the touristy season and we just came at a bad moment but my experience was pretty weak. This is white this rose this is red. Ok great… here’s some oil and a piece of cheese. Have fun… Wine was also pretty weak check vivino if you disagree. It dis have a great view but it was way better at okro. Okro is what we visited the next day and the experience was way better. We spent 106 there for 5 wines, a cheese platter, some eggplant and also got oil and toast. And also a talkative guide. If you’re planning on going just skip and go to okro or pheasant tears (food is best here, wine is okayish).

Great interesting host! Our tasting was wonderful: wine was perfect and organic. Nice hospitable conversation and tasty bread with oil are the best coincidence for awesome degustation.
