Living Roots Horse Ranch (Lost Ridge Ranch), Signagi

To start with the positive, the landscape is extremely beautiful and well worth the visit, as well as the ranch itself. The horses were friendly and well disciplined, BUT it really made me sad to see that especially my horse was extremely skinny, it was for sure not healthy anymore. I work with horses for many years and in my opinion this horse should not have any rider on him until he gets fitter. Looking back I should have asked for another horse or cancelled the tour as i could hardly enjoy it. However I must also say that our tour guide was very friendly and helpful all the time.

Great riding experience while traveling on horseback around the ranch. Guide spoke English and was willing to take pictures. Yet the only downside was the metal bridle bit, that seemed to be uncomfortable for a horse. In the ranch itself we had a great and a cheap dinner and wonderful chat (in Russian) with a hostess. I recommend their "lemonade"!

Great fun! It's a small ranch but they have healthy, clean, well mannered horses. You can hire a horse for 35 GEL and it's worth every tetri! An expert rider accompanies you on another horse and the trail passes through marvellous terrain with breathtaking views, thick forest, grasslands, dirt road and finally the Bodbe monastery and back. They don't speak English but it's ok even for a fresher, as the horses still understand your signals without any language! The place is great for picnic too and spending time in nature.

Really nice location, well.maintained, nice to have a bite and to chill before and after your ride. Nice horses, good english. I went with my family. We took 2h ride. Private ride only for 3 of us. Lovely path with a great top wiev on the caucasos mountains. Definitely racomanded
