  • I keep getting impressed when I see what the romans built 2000 years ago. This is rather small, but very impressive, and the audio guide is quite good Our son on 4 was not as amused as I was though

  • An excellent layout of the ancient Roman spa complex, augmented by a very learned commentary about construction and functioning. Also a set of comments from Roman writers etc.

  • Super hard to find the entrance. This ruin in fact is the ground floor of Friedrichsbad Baden-Baden. Opening hours is quite limit.
  • If you're interested in the Romans, this is a nice little museum. Only €2.50 including an audio guide, if you listen to it carefully looking around the bath Ruins as you do so, it clearly explains how each bath was identified and built. Only takes 30-40 mins max.
  • Nice place to explore some history. It is a small area with ruins. The heating system of the baths is actually genious! 3 stars because thr entry is overpriced. It costs 5 euro. Reduced ticket is 4.5.
  • Nice place for a quick visit. Limited opening hours so we got lucky as we hadn't planned to go here! The place is small but the entry fee includes a free audioguide. It can be a bit challenging to follow what the audioguide is describing so even though you can start anywhere it seems best to start with the information boards to get an idea of the terminology used before walking up the steps to the ramp that takes you through the ruins.
  • Hours are a bit limited, so be sure to plan around them. Worth the price of admission if you’d like to learn about the Roman history of the area. If that era is not specifically your cup of tea, then likely not worth visiting. Very friendly staff, decent audio tour included with admission. Signage only in German.
