Berlin Affordable Art featured art which is representative of the modern history and culture of Berlin. Founded partially in response to the closing of the legendary Kunsthaus Tacheles, BAA featured many of the artists who previously took residence at Tacheles, sharing their art as well as their fascinating stories.

BAA’s flagship gallery, Klassenfeind Gallery, was located in the Mitte district of Berlin, just five minutes walk from the old Tacheles, on Oranienburger Straße. The gallery offered locals and tourists alike a unique opportunity to see and feel Berlin’s modern street art history and purchase original artworks, prints, postcards, t-shirts and more.

Unfortuantely we had to close our Klassenfeind Gallery in March 2017.

I used to like a lot Tacheles when it was open, and I think this gallery is a must for recovering the essence of this artistic place, which is at the same time the essence of Berlin. Very good independent artists, friendly people and very affordable art. Good spot for art hunters!!

Great place to check out and pick up some really cool Berlin-esque art! Place is cool, staff are wonderful and the artists are hanging around too! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will be back for more!

The possibility of acquiring this type of art is formidable and possibly something unique in Berlin! I was lucky enough to be able to chat with the artists and above all the excellent treatment of the people who work there make you feel super and if you want to You take a beer and you still enjoy more. I recommend it very much!
