Sankt Pauli was built between 1901 and 1906 during the heyday of materialism, where old styles were simply repeated due to a lack of new ideas. But it is very beautiful with a magnificent organ.

An interesting building, in a very pleasant residential area (eastern ring area, Braunschweig)..... while I lived right next to the St. Pauli Church for years, the ringing of the bells didn't bother me.. rather something pleasant... and I'm not a "churchgoer"... . Built 1901-1906 as a protestant church, at that time on the former Kaiser-Wilhelm-Str. .. today Jasperallee..., the tower has unfortunately not been in its original state since 1945...(as of 2022)

The building is impressive. We were here for an Advent service with a choir supported by a flute group. The choir is at home here and is also often part of the services. Due to everyone's austerity measures, savings are of course also made here and the temperature is only brought to 16-17 degrees. If you want, you can get a blanket.
