It is a wonderful place that has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Although we have a vaccination passport, we could not enter the museum because we did not have a test, but the outdoor and garden tells everything. This is what it means to protect your values. I advise. If you are going during the pandemic period, you cannot see it without a daily test and vaccination passport and mask.

It is a very big area which is nicely planned in terms of design, style, service to show history. You can simply touch and feel history and how the weather and the time was earlier. You can also have a guide who can explain you about the history and if you have luck to have someone with a good story telling skills then you can really enjoy the whole visit. There is also restaurant and cafe inside alongside with toilet free of charge. The complex and buildings are distributed a wide area so you may face and see different views

MAGNIFICENT!! Absolutely loved being there and experiencing the coal mine industry. You can be there for hours and keep discovering cool stuff. There are museums and a café and other sections which are converted into research centers and so on. It is very peaceful and very big. It is no wonder a UNESCO heritage centre, it absolutely deserves it. Highly recommend going and checking it out. Don't forget to take a map at the information center or a pic of it at the entrance.

Beautiful park. Stroll our bike around and see the historic buildings and relics from when the mine was in operation. The top floor of the museum is interesting, and great view of the surrounding area from the roof. The lower floors are a little odd. They get into early man, religion and have a mastadon statue…didn’t fit with the idea of learning about the Industrial Revolution of the area.
