A popular meeting point, Fountain of Justice regularly appears on holiday and wedding photos as the symbol of old town Frankfurt am Main. Situated on the central square surrounded by restaurants and cafes, the present fountain dates to 1611. The fountain basin is made of red sandstone, while the bronze statues of goddess Justitia at the top and four virtues below (Hope, Caritas, Moderation and Justice) are 19th-century additions.
