Main Tower offers several stylish ways to unwind after a busy day, all of them with impressive views over the city rooftops. Opened in 1999, the 200 m (656 ft) skyscraper remains one of the tallest buildings in Germany and the only one in Frankfurt with a public observation deck. Before you head up, take time to appreciate two important pieces of contemporary art in the foyer--a video installation by Bill Viola and a wall mosaic by Stephan Huber. Europe's highest fitness club occupies the 53rd and 54th floors of the building, and if you need to fill an empty stomach after a workout head to the restaurant on the 53rd floor. You can plan Frankfurt trip in no time by asking Klarna Trips to help create your itinerary.

  • This popular tourist attraction 56 storey skyscraper is located in heart of Frankfurt. It's named after nearby Main River. Luckily when we reached, there was no line. The security was very smooth...

  • We had booked in advance and therefore did not have to wait at the entrance. Security check went efficiently, smoothly, and quickly after which we could walk directly to the elevators and go up...

  • I recently had the chance to experience the breathtaking city skyline view of Frankfurt from the top of the Main Tower. The panoramic view of the entire city was truly awe-inspiring, with landmarks and attractions such as the Main River, Römerberg district, and the financial district all visible. The viewing platform was well-maintained and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful in providing information about the city's points of interest. Overall, the city skyline view of Frankfurt was a truly memorable experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting the city. Whether you're a tourist looking to get a feel for the city or a local seeking a new perspective on your hometown, a visit to the Main Tower is definitely worth it.
  • Pretty much what you would expect :) 6 Euros for students and 9 Euros for adults is an ok price for the Views you get and I could technically give 4 stars for the waiting time which was about 15 minutes on a thursday morning (11am). A few simple informations you might like: The elevator goes up in 45 seconds with an average speed of 20km/h and on the top you can also find toilets and a gym The views were really nice and so I would definitely suggest having a go for yourself :)
  • Go early in order not to wait in the line for too long. €9 for one adult. Elevator goes up in 45 seconds to 54th floor. If weather is good, you can better pictures obviously
  • Simply the best views on the city, not cheap (9 euro), fast elevator, perfect for photography (mostly without windows outside)
  • Main Tower. Every major city will always have an observation deck for tourists to view the city from the top. I have only been to a few cities' tower but this one in Frankfurt is probably the smallest and in my humble opinion the most not worth the price at 9 euros per adult.
