  • This museum is often underrated as most visitors refer to other venues when in Frankfurt. Personally, I have always admired interesting exhibitions here.

  • Ridiculously brazen, laughable, and a wasted opportunity - despite it being free for me. Yes, Art is subjective. That isn’t an excuse for the lacklustre curation. It lacks character, quality, diversity, appeal and relevance. Looking at other cities and their modern art museum equivalents renders ours as an utter embarrassment in its totality. They desperately need a new director who is aware of the times and is intrinsically interested in keeping art interesting; art shouldn’t have to be a punishment. Also, the “free” ticket to the Zollamt-museum is an extension of their ignorance towards their vocation and proof of their incompetence. Being from Frankfurt, it angers me that they can get away with such a weak museum. Money aside, save yourselves the time until they get their act together.
  • Spacious space for art displays. A to-go spot if you love modern arts. Entrance fee can be paid on the spot.
  • A great place to visit even if you are not a fan of art. The building is very beautiful.
  • The problem of harmful watchmen who feel their power and interfere with life exists in this museum. They wouldn't let me in with a bag containing a purse, glasses, a bottle of water and a charger. At the same time, there is no queue to this museum at all. But there are two angry women sitting at the checkout, probably this also somehow affects.
  • Very nice exhibition. Was happy I caught it on its last day... The museum pass is a bargain, esp. In this case as I did not have to queue for ages 😅
