Explore the deep caverns and rushing waters of one of Germany's most notable natural wonders at Partnachklamm. The historic gorge--more than 80 m (262 feet) tall--features a dramatic combination of waterfalls, rapids, and deep-water basins. You can journey through the 702 m (2303 ft) of dark caverns and rushing water to enjoy the unspoiled natural beauty of the gorge. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride from the parking lot to the entrance as a fun alternative to walking. Be sure to wear a rain jacket and sturdy shoes when exploring the gorge. What a fantastic place! The views we saw on the walk were just stunning! Even in winter, this place was worth visiting. Apart from the gorge, there are a lot of tourist routes through the forest. Depending on physical training, you can choose the best appropriate one. I also advise you to take a raincoat if the weather is cold as there are a couple of waterfalls.

It's an impressive experience. The path to the entrance is very wide and easy to walk on. In the gorge, however, it is narrow to the rocks, partly through the tunnels. It's also good to have a flashlight, because it's really dark in some parts of the tunnel. A jacket with a hood is also useful, as the water drips heavily from above in some places. We were there on a public holiday with nice weather around noon. That was probably a mistake as it was very crowded. In narrower places you sometimes had to wait until "oncoming traffic" had passed... I also thought it was stupid that you were allowed to go there with the dogs. I don't think it's a nice experience for the dogs: loud, cramped and lots of strange legs that you have to avoid. Next time I'll go there earlier as it's probably a lot quieter.

Amazing place. On a busy day, finding parking is a bit hard and one has to walk a bit to get the beautiful views of the Gorge, but definitely worthwhile. Nature at one of it's best. It's enjoyable only in the right season - when there is good water flow.

We spent a beautiful day in this area. Took the cable car up from the ski jump stadium then hiked down to the gorge and walked around the gorge. Very highly recommended if you like to walk and your soul desires amazing scenery !

An amazing place to do little bit adventure in a cave. Need to buy ticket to enter the cave and it costs 6 euro. Possible to buy from automatic machine or from counter. After reaching end of the cave you can go up with hiking the hills and the views from the top of the hill are mind blowing. There are some fantastic restaurants on top the hill to get authentic foods.
