  • We made a point to be here at 6 to see this. It is short but sweet! Enjoy a drink at one of the nearby cafes and watch this mini "history" of Goslar play out.

  • Unfortunately, we (like some other people) stood in vain on the market square in February and waited for the figures - afterwards we asked at the tourist information office: Due to weather-related reasons, only the carillon could be heard, unfortunately the figures stayed inside... It was nowhere clear to us whether it was going to be for the whole winter or from when to when exactly (unfortunately, on the website of the city of Goslar there is nothing at all about a winter break for the figures).
  • Absolutely worth seeing - daily at 12.00 p.m
  • So very nice shop. Service started out very strong but also dropped off very quickly. Nobody asked us if we wanted anything anymore. Although there were enough staff and hardly any guests. It's a shame the store has a lot of potential
  • A MUST FOR EVERY tourist who comes to Goslar. BEAUTIFUL play that tells the story of mining. A beautiful melody sounds on the hour. Definitely worth it
  • A very interesting attraction is the city clock with figurines. They were donated to the city by Preussag in 1968. They put on a little show several times a day. The first to appear at the window are the emperor Otto I the Great and the knight Ranma, who feeds his horse. According to legend, when this horse beat with its hoof, silvery pieces of metal began to appear on the ground. In gratitude, the mountain was named after the knight - Rammelsberg, and the miners' village in honor of his wife - Goslar. Miners appear next and their story about the Rammelsberg mine. The entire performance lasts less than 10 minutes.
