  • This is an historic build with a small chapel. It was once run as a hospital by nuns but now has several small shops inside.

  • A nice and friendly place to get your presies for the holidays. From leadglazing to leather goods to paper stars, and other stuff I forgot about. But make sure your umbrella is Goslar-proof. Apparently, Goslar gushes keep the whole German umbrella industry going.
  • Super cute boutique shops inside. An absolute must visit!!
  • Very special place👍. Small handcraft shops in an old hospital building. A visit there is a must when you are in Goslar.😃
  • A good place to stroll around and buy little things.
  • I visited the arts and crafts market and discovered a stand on the outside of the breeding area at the Great Holy Cross where Dhara Sigrun Reisner from Marl was offering various bamboo saxophones. She now makes the flutes herself and gives introductory courses in playing them. She was in Goslar for the first time and doesn't know yet whether she'll be back. I referred to our old town festival and tried to encourage them to come here again. For those interested in music and wind instruments, a visit to Dhara's stand was worthwhile, since the sound of the flutes actually comes very close to that of a soprano saxophone and, due to their individual craftsmanship, each have their own timbre. There are four models of saxophones: one pentatonic and three chromatic. The pentatonic has six finger holes on the face and produces a scale of five notes. The chromatic have eight finger holes on the front and one on the back for the thumb. The playing range is two octaves in the pitches C, Bb and G. All saxophones are tuned to middle A. Suitable styles of music are, depending on the pitch, in particular folk, rock, pop, blues, jazz, as well as Christmas and children's songs. On the Internet, I called up several links to Dhara's homepage with some game samples and forwarded them to friends.
