Hamburg Town Hall, Hamburg

It is one of my favorite places in Hamburg. The square where it is located, the lake, the buildings, everything is historical and in a magnificent atmosphere. it always has a different feeling in summer and winter, it is the favorite place of all tourists :) If you're going to feed the mantis and the ducks by the lake, don't forget to take something with you :) especially in summer, everyone gathers here to have a drink, it is a very lively area.

Definitely a must to see!!! Iconic Hamburg city hall architecturally brilliant, emotionally poetic, like a fairytale palace. Definitely recommended to see from every angle and definitely walk inside or find to do something inside. There’s a square in front of it that you can find every thing or whatever you’re looking for. I felt in here like Liverpool I don’t know why it remembers me.

Stunning Building in the center of Hamburg. It makes for an amazing backdrop to the Christmas Market during the Holiday season. We really enjoyed our visit and highly commend this location for Christmas (and non Christmas) enjoyment.

We visited the Christmas market set up in Rathaus recently as part of a journey around Northern Europe. The surrounding architecture is stunning, with the cute little market set up on the plaza selling all manner of Christmas items & food. We purchased some lovely Christmas decorations and our visit culminated in a vegan currywurst which was the perfect ending to our trip.

Absolutely stunning. What a piece of architecture. Next time I would visit and explore it from the inside with a guided tour. Really busy area at any point of the day.
