Walk the canal-lined streets of the world's largest warehouse complex in Hamburg's Speicherstadt. Head to the Miniatur Wunderland in this iconic landmark, and you'll be fascinated by the largest digitally operated miniature railroad in the world. The district along the Hamburg port features stately Neo-Gothic buildings with trendy restaurants, traditional shops, and fine galleries. You can stroll over the many canal bridges to admire the impressive industrial architecture. To view the district from the water, you can rent a boat to tour the port. • Probably best to do on a dry day and not a rainy one. Lovely for a wander around. We went to miniature wonderland too which was excellent. Hamburg dungeons exhibit is underneath that also

  • Speicherstadt is stunning with the water and the warehouses creating something very special. The mood is sombre but the architecture is spectacular. A must visit.

  • Large area of huge brickbuilt ware houses. Sounds dull? No, if you like design & style, at scale. Lots of voews, bridges, some cafes etc Walk thru if going to ElbePhil.

  • Nice view, but be prepared that it's very popular and gets crowded. When I went there there were like at least 20 people, with professional cameras set up, so you couldn't stand in the middle to get a picture, you only had the option to stand to the side of the bridge.
  • Most iconic view of Hamburg. Any season at night the lights make it more alive. Photos are nothing compared to the view in your own eyes. I recommend one should visit once here.
  • A must visit place in Hamburg to get exposed to the old buildings and district. The architectures are pretty! Recommend to spend a half day to explore the whole district.
  • This is perhaps the most photogenic and instagrammable spot you don't want to miss in Hamburg. A perfect view of canals and old industrial buildings. Less people during weekdays.
  • Amazing city on water. One of the most iconic places of Hamburg. The buildings gave their own theme which make you feel you are in other place. Stunning
