The New Town Hall, Hannover

A great place … the central hall was pointed out to us buy a member of the tourist information. He also recommended a book The Red Thread . Which then had us on a tourist route , great help and well worth the 3€. The main reason for visit was to ascend the (not straight)lift to the top of the tower , absolutely fantastic and views were as you would expect perfect.

One of the few good places to visit in Hannover. The entrance to the building is free but it is closed on weekends. The building itself is very beautiful and a nice instagramable spot 😉. I did not find it very crowded. You have an option to have a city view from the top as well.

It is a city hall and was opened 1913, after having been under construction for 12 years. It is a wonderfull, castle-like building of the era of Wilhelm II in eclectic style at the southern edge of the inner city.
