    Absolutely fabulous place in the city of Leipzig and definitely my favourite place... especially for hanging around with friends. You can even go there for a walk just alone ... and contemplate only.....  more

    A very quiet and idyllic place on the Karl Heine Canal and a wonderful oasis in the "Plagwitz" district of Leipzig 💚

    The Karl Heine Canal is an oasis in the west of Leipzig. You can go paddling here, or let yourself be driven on a motor boat with a city guide over coffee/cake, or try stand up padling yourself. It's worth taking under many bridges and with interesting architecture.

    It's always idyllic with the folding boat on the canal. Partly a calm, if you consider that a cross street is next door and the tram is running. And that in the middle of the city, in the sunshine, wonderful.
