  • This is a beautiful park-like cemetery of about 82 hectares to the south of Leipzig. It is just a delightful, peaceful place to have a walk and enjoy the surroundings. There are some lovely trees...

  • Quite nice place, monumental cementary where walk around and get lost in your thoughts. You may find in the middle an impressive church, which unfortunately you can't visit. Lack of information...

  • Beutiful, magical, Disney-like palace. It’s a very bizzare composure - palace is like from fairy tale, but at the end of it there is a crematory. And all of that in beutiful surroundings of a park that in fact is cementary (but the one for wealthy people I believe). But all in all it’s a must to visit while in Leipzig.
  • Nice place to have a stroll. It's right next to the völkerschlachtdenkmal as well so lots to see around there. It's a beautiful cemetery and quiet, it also has toilet facilities near the entrance.
  • Beautiful regular park. It is quite place with a lot of historical monuments.
  • A most wonderful cemetery: much like a park.
  • An absolutely stunning piece of land. Great for a walk, lots of hydrangeas and other flowering plants, a pond, willow trees, and a beautiful calm atmosphere. The pathways are very wide and flat, so quite accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. It's absolutely worth a visit.
