Heiliggeistkirche, Munich

A lovely sanctuary just off the Marienplatz. Lots of interesting murals, paintings, sculptures, and carvings throughout. Can be pretty busy, and although most visitors are quiet and respectful, this may not always be the best place for uninterrupted reflection.

The gothic church welcomes you with a trip back in time to the era of awesome architecture and holiness. one of the iconic churches in central Munich that you must see. the ceiling is incredible so is the sculptures and paintings.

Visited on Christmas morning. The smoky interior of the church had a very mysterious appearance. Unlike the noisy outside, it is a very beautiful and peaceful place. It was also a good place to take a break during the trip.

A nice church with an interesting clock outside. Also a good part of the attractions in the center. Not sure what was written on the door..
