  • This is the cemetery where my Grandfather is buried. It is a beautiful, peaceful place. Many of the soldiers and airmen buried here were young and most died in thr last few months of the war.
  • A sad and very peaceful place. Thank you for fighting for our freedom. Thank you for what you gave. May you rest in peace
  • Small Nice cemetery
  • Military cementery, worth visiting.
  • An honour to visit my great uncle with my wife and children namely, Sapper James Edward Mills Royal Engineers, my Grandfathers Brother who died just before the end of the war. I was proud as an ex soldier to pay my respect with a salute, whilst my wife played the last post and that was it, could not hold my tears back and we both cried in each others arms. I intend to return to plant daffodils from his home country and a picture of his brother Arthur who survived the war so they can rest in peace together for ever more. Please stop on your travels and pay your respect and honour the ultimate sacrifice that our servicemen and women from all walks of life and countries paid to defeat the Nazi's
