One of the biggest amusements parks in Germany, Heide Park features five different areas. You can explore the Lower-Saxony entrance area, Pirate Land, Transylvania, Land of the Forgotten, and Wild Wild West. Many of the 40 different rides are suitable for young children and thrill-seekers alike. Adrenaline junkies shouldn't miss KRAKE, Germany's first dive rollercoaster. When you arrive, check the schedule for the park's five different live performances, including a puppet and pirate show. Fantastic experience just amazing time to spend a day there. After pandemic this amusement park is now open to public and masks are not compulsory but recommended. There is attraction for all ages. The adventure rides are very well designed and safety seats on each one is very firm and secure so one need not panic when seated inside any of those rides. Ticket prices are reasonable and you also get and yearly pass if one is interested. Overall it's a very good location to spend a day which is less than an hour drive from Hamburg.

I really want to give a five star. One star minus is simply because it’s not enough time for a big amusement park like this. 6 o’clock in the evening is too early to close! Ideally 10. Maybe 8? Otherwise it’s a perfect family attraction. We had a five year boy with us and we didn’t take a break except lunch and an ice cream. Still we didn’t have time for everything we wanted to do. Please if possible in the future extend the opening hours. Thank you!

Great amusement park for the whole family. Tickets and parking has to be bought online in advance! We did a lot of the regular rides, 'cause our kids are 5 and 8, scared of roller coasters. Bring drinks and food! Waiting times were fine. We loved the show 'Dragon eye and swords' - amazing!! Only 4 stars because it is a lot of money for a family if 4.

Fun and super exciting rides!! I have seen people say the food was too expensive for what you get but we were very satisfied with our nuggets and fries 🍟 Lots of super fun and fast rides but also peppa pig land and how to train your dragon and so on for kids A lot of the rides says 12+ in the app but we were not checked once. The only thing that mattered was height ;)

The park itself is great, there are a lot of coasters and big thrill rides. The entry price is very fair. However, I wouldn't recommended going during vacation or on weekends. It's a big place sure, but the experience is degraded a lot with this many people there. There are no Corona regulations, so there is no disinfection of the rides anymore and nobody cares to wear a mask. With so many people, it's a little uncomfortable. The lines are very long. If you do go during vacation (or weekends), go twice. If you want to visit the big popular thrill coasters you will be waiting up to 2 hours. The lines are also incredibly boring, there isn't much theming, instead there is usually just zigzagged railing. This means that you are surrounded by people on all sides while waiting for a lot of rides. You can buy fast pass options, however the app in which you do that does not load the corresponding page. It's also only really worth it if you pay 50+ € extra per person which will allow you to skip half the queue and spend your time somewhere else while virtually waiting. The rides are pretty good, albeit often on the shorter side. The waiting to ride time ratio isn't great, but each ride has it's own gimmick and is quite unique and interesting to make up for it. If you get headaches easily, bring medication, because the rides I've tried were extremely rough. Some of them have head coushions, but they don't really help much. "LIMIT" and the Bobbahn are especially guilty of this, it makes the ride very unpleasant. Smaller attractions are not worth the wait usually, the queues go way beyond their intended start. In terms of bathrooms and food, there was no problems even on this busy day. You can usually find a toilet without a line somewhere and the lines for the food were very manageable. There are unisex toilets but they are locked There was a big wasp problem. It was a hot day and there was wasps everywhere. On every trashcan and every food stall, on you and on your food. One was trying to eat my food out of my own mouth, not pleasant. My advice, pick a time that is not busy. Go when the weather is suboptimal, during the week, etc... and not on vacation. You can easily spend two days here, and you will have to if it is busy.
