Deutsches Marinemuseum Wilhelmshaven, Wilhelmshaven

Awesome tour. 14 euro to enter. Really nice layout inside covers the history of the German Naval command. Well written in both German and English. Outside is terrific with the tour of the U-boat, destroyers others. Lots of weapons around on display outside as well. A must see if your in the area, great for all ages. Near the coast with great walking trails. Cheers 👍💯

Easy to find and great fun wondering around looking at the historic information. I really loved the model ships in the museum building. Outside there are more modern ships, real ones this time. We spent a pleasant morning here, cafe was good as well.

Excellent informative museum explaining the history of the German Navy. Indoor exposition relatively small, however, well presented. Exposition outside of naval ships and submarines well situated near the historic bridge so that also nice pics can be taken.

Very interesting museum. Well set up with lots of neat exhibits but the best part was getting to go in a submarine, fast boat and the other ships. You really get a sense of how the sailors lived and worked and it was fascinating. The kids tried out chairs around nav consoles, admired the sleeping bunks and just how cramped the areas where to move around. There is a Cafe on site where you can get hot/cold drinks and food.

Great Museum! Very interesting and nicely displayed information. They've adapted well to the covid regulations needed. Sadly this means all the interactive things were not available but that is understandable given the situation. I found the information on the day to day things the most interesting, gives insight on what it was like for people in the past. Also the round tour of the ship at the dock was also fascinating! Definitely worth to check out! 👍
