  • This beach was a long strip of clean sand and clear water running the length of Agia Marina. You tend to go near to where you are staying but if you walk, either way, you’ll find a spot you like best....  more

  • Busy beach, quite commercial but clean and big enough to not feel crowded. Life guards and lots of tavernas.

  • Long, well organized beach with all necessary amenities and services. Mostly sandy with very long shallow entrance. Warm water in full season. If there is a stronger north wind, waves would be a challenge.
  • We were a bit unlucky when we visited the beach, because of the big waves we couldn't get in the water for swimming, as the red flag was displayed. But our overall experience was a good one. A sand beach with lots of beach bars and sunbeds you can chose from and not very crowded. I recommend visiting it!
  • I think it’s best beach if u don’t want to travel too long from chania it’s around 20-25 minutes to go there and bus is 1.60€ one way. It’s a lot of places to eat and beach chairs are quite cheap it’s 6€ for 2 with umbrella. Unfortunately we were scammed one day and they charged us double and refused to give us our money back!
  • Such a great beach a definite must visit when in Chania! The water is crystal clear this beach would be great to bring children too. Lots of little supermarkets and restaurants around too. Toilet and shower facilities available.
  • Very nice long beach with many bars and restaurants all the way long. Many sunbeds with umbrellas available for customers free of charge is a big plus. It's mostly sandy with some gravel entrance to the water. Very long shallow entrance, great for playing with children - no risk of sudden deeper water. But you can also swim without the problem if you move away from the shore a little bit more. Some underwater rocks from time to time but it's not an issue. Beautiful view on the dragon island.
