We booked 2 excursions with them: the turtle spotting and the shipwreck above and down. The turtle spotting was corresponding to what was promised, except from the glass bottom boat: we went to Marathonisi, we saw the keri caves and we saw one turtle, but no glass bottom to see the other turtles or the other fish. The second excursion was a complete disaster and absolutely NOT what was expected! The official reason was that it was windy so we could not see the shipwreck. When they arrived to pick us up in front of the hotel they told us the_ were not sure about the shipwreck bcs of the wind. The weather is not the fault of the agency of course, but we would have expected is a phone call to prevent us BEFORE the departure that the excursion we booked was not going to happen, and instead we ended up wasting one day for something which was completely not what it was promised! Apart from one stop at 1 beach, we spent the entire day in a bus visiting the inland! No boat at all, no poseidon face, no blu caves and not shipwreck from the sea! Sorry but we booked, paid and expected a day by boat and at the sea, and only a short part of the day visiting traditional spots inland. Also, when we booked in the agency it was told us that we would have been prevented before hand if the weather forecast would have not allowed the programme to be completed. Tourists buy this excursions for the shipwreck and the blu caves and in our case, this publicity was only misused to attract us, as for sure we would have not chosen to spend one day in a bus instead than at the beach. Plus, if they would have called us to prevent us, we would have probably had the possibility to go to the shipwreck with a bigger boat because of the wind, or maybe just simply spent the day at the beach. The good thing is that Niki, the guide, is very kind, but overall disappointing!

Unforgettable experience!! Zakynthos is an island that has many places to explore! From the amazing beaches in the southern part of the island and the famous shipwreck (northwest) to the picturesque villages on the heights and the many olive mills. Precisely for this reason, it is important to be guided by people who know the history of the attractions and beaches of the island. Niki (tour guide) is an amazing person with excellent knowledge and experience on Zakynthos. We visited with her in a small boat of 20 people the caves in Keri, where besides guiding her through the caves, she described & narrated the life of the loggerhead turtles! We went to Marathonisi where he used to inform us about the incubation & birth cycle of the baby turtles (most of these features you can't find on the internet). He also guided us to picturesque villages located at an altitude in Zakynthos and took us to one of the olive mills of Zakynthos where we were guided and saw the oil production process & tasted its delicious derivatives. He guided us to the monastery where Saint Dionysios lived and told us in detail its importance, both in the history of Christianity, and the role it played during the Second World War. Brief information that most tourist agencies do NOT provide! Finally, because on the day we booked the tour to the wreck and the blue caves there was a storm, he informed us that the boats cannot go out in the open because it is dangerous and he simply took us to enjoy the view of the wreck from above. While we were there, we noticed that several tourist boats with tourists crammed on board were trying to enter the beach of the shipwreck, which was extremely dangerous. I think, therefore, that the decision of Niki and the local captains who cooperates, to put our safety above their profit (monetary) and not expose us to danger, was the most welcoming and beautiful thing we experienced! If you visit the island, prefer Zografakis travel. In any other travel agency you will be crammed onto a boat with 200 other tourists and you won't be able to enjoy the magic of the trip or the sights! In addition, although the island is known for the caretta caretta and the Shipwreck, it hides many hidden secrets in its villages and very beautiful beaches that Niki guided us to or advised us to visit on our own!
