Chania Adventures, Chania Town

A highlight of our family vacation with grown kids - Nasos and Dimitri offered us information and insights that helped us understand Cretan history and culture. They took us to stunningly beautiful places we never would have found on our own. They customized the itinerary to our particular interests and designed a day of delicious food, spectacular natural scenery, and modest hikes, all the while giving us the space to enjoy the experience as a family. From ages 20 to 69, we all agreed the day was the highlight of our first time in Crete.

My husband and I did the food and wine walking tour in Chania! Nasos was wonderful, the other couple ended up canceling so it was a private tour! So much food, (don’t eat at all before). The winery was amazing, so informative! Miss Maria was a gem and as a wine lover I have never known so much about wine! My family is from Crete but generations back, so it was wonderful to be treated like family and get some authentic experiences and local recommendations!

This is our 4th trip with Chania Adventures! Why so many? Because of the quality and education we get with each trip. We particularly enjoyed this trip with the thrill and adventure in getting the jeep off road, to places others don't dare to venture. We had an excellent experience with Nasos. He was very professional with an on time pick up directly from our hotel entrance. He tailored the adventure throughout the day, with high winds and a shorter than planned beach time, he showed us to an excellent Cafe with wonderful desserts! Throughout the day, he gave us great information about Crete and about each other. Would highly recommend this tour company to anyone!

We had a brilliant time with Nasos on our private tour. There was a great variety of experiences and the food and wine was great. This is an ideal way to see the countryside surrounding Chania and I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling to the area - it is well worth it and great value for money! Nasos provided great background on the history of the area and is a really friendly guy.
