  • It is true that, as a beach, there are many better around. It has large stones and can be uncomfortable unless you have the right equipment. Ignoring that, it is beautiful. The views are stunning...

  • Spinalonga itself is lovely and steeped in history but as for a beach, perhaps not, a selection of rocky areas, large rocks where treading carefully you can negotiate your way into some small areas...

  • A moving visit to the ex leper colony inside the old Spinalonga fortress can also be a tiring and draining experience due to the heat in the summer. The tour guide recommended taking water with us...

  • Great place to take a dip to cool down after walking through the ruins of Spinalonga. Very rocky and there are many sea urchants so reef shoes are a must if you don't want to risk getting needles in your feet.
  • Very expensive, experience. The entrance 8 euro. To go there from Eluda 12 euro.
  • Can get busy but it's deffo worth a visit. Very beautiful.
  • Nice beach and area was lovely but the boat trip there was terrible and had awful food.
  • I went here about 38 years ago and remember walking down the streets, very eerie and looking in the concrete graves which had had their tops removed , you could see the human bones etc. There were was no cafe or shop to buy drinks then. We were staying in Elounda and I was looking to go into business here at the time renting cars, mopeds etc. The food and Raki was great
