Agios Ioannis Beach, Gavdos

It's a place outside the regular world. One has to walk for about 10 minutes through a specific pine bush. Following is a long and sandy, naturist beach. With on the back a multitude of iglo tents, where young people spend their summer. A place like no other. (No facilities, though).

The most famous beach in the island!! Amazing wide sandy beach with bushes scattered all over the place!! If the weather is windy the waves cover the swimming spots.

One of the two best beaches in gavdos ( the other one is Potamos) Lovely place with soft sand and crystal clear water. In May and in September is a fantastic place, in June and in August still lovely but it's a little bit too much crowded of people that camping here

One of the best beaches I've ever been in my life. And I've been to many all around Greece. Golden sand, crystal clear water and enormous ancient cedar trees !!! This is an ideal camping spot that is promoted even by the mayor of the island and can host a big number of guests. So you don't have to worry about anything (you don't even need a swim suit), just bring your good attitude, relax, enjoy the freedom that this community offers and don't forget to respect the environment. Respect and you will be respected. Nearby you can find two mini markets (for your supplies) and two desent cafe/restaurants (with shower and laundry place) that work I think after the half of June. Better cross check this before you arrive! If you need solitude go before June, if you need some company go between June and first of July and if you need wild situations go from half of July until first of September.
