Douloufakis Winery, Heraklion

We went for the wine and olive oil tasting. The staff are really lovely people that are very knowledgeable about their wines. The highlight was definitely the olive oil tasting, as the lady that presented the oils was so great at her job and really helped us understand the complexities of olive oil.

We booked a wine tasting in the vineyards and it was really awesome. After a short tour through the vinery we went by pickup to a small house placed directly in the vineyards in an amazing landscape. During the ride on the back of the pickup we had the chance to see the great sides of Crete. Wonderfull hilly landscapes full with vineyards and olive trees. Furthermore, we really likes the wines and the variety of them.

We had a wine and olive oil testing. It was very interesting especially olive oil testing, because it was something new for us. I recommend this Winery and Femina white wine.

A great experience - kind people and cozy family run business. We have had a tour on winery and received a detailed description of wine making process and kinds of wine they produce. Thank you! :)

Douloufakis Winery was an Amazing experience! We learned a LOT about the different wines that they have as well as some cretan olive oils! If you decide to go, you MUST get the cheese board to go with the wine tasting - some of the BEST meats and cheeses we've ever had! -Ben and Bridget
