Create an itinerary including Chrissi Island
A number of tour companies offer excursions to the uninhabited and picturesque Chrissi Island. Once your boat arrives, you can get orientated by heading to the highest point of the island, Kefala. Sitting 31 m (101 ft) above sea level, this spot provides excellent views of the island. If you're interested in architecture and history, head to the western side to see the Saint Nicholas Chapel, estimated to date back to the 13th century. If you'd like to relax, visit the island's beautiful beaches. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available to rent. Don't forget your snorkeling gear as the shallow waters are rich with unusual shells. • The MS Christina is a nice boat with sympatic and helpful crew - enough space for every guest on the ship, small enough (in comparison to some other boats that you can rent) to go near the beaches...

  • Very windy in early Sept. Couldn't stay at the Gold Beach, had to move to the other side of the island. Great place for sunbathing, not much else. Interesting seawater salt deposits between the rocks on the shore.
  • Really beautiful island!! The water is crystal! We went with a boat and paid 45€ per person from Heraklion(bus+boat)!! It must have been better if we payed a private trip as the boat is full of people and you stay for around 3 hours on the island.
  • We bought tickets via internet. Its cost 50€ for two person. It was great trip from port Lerapetra. Better is rent car, facultative trips it was 2x more expensive. When u will come to chrissi island u must walk on the other side island there is gold beach. Sands nice also water.
  • One of my favourite beaches around Greece.I would definately recommend a visit as i am positive that each one of you will always remember the beautiful shell sand beach!
  • 💞Reclusive unspoilt island! Beautiful crystal clear sea with pristine white sand with exclusive wild flora and fauna💞
