Agios Panteleimonas Beach, Agios Nikolaos

The beach is very narrow and littered with large pebbles to good parts, but the sea, the view, the white fine sand and the crystal clear water are just incredible. An absolute Caribbean feeling/vibe. The sunbeds with umbrella are chargeable (5 euros per sunbed/person) but qualitatively very good and thus worth their money for a whole day in this little paradise :)

Cool beach and beautiful sea with clear water. We passed the overcrowded sandbeach part and continued to the area of the beach with pebbles and sunbeds. Enjoyed a nice afternoon and had lunch at the Taverna up the hill at the street. Toilets have not been used but I guess they might not be the best ones.

Love this beach! Water is breathtaking in the afternoon! You can rent a sunbed for 3 euros

At first glance it looks really nice with clear waters. A closer look you can see the water is filled with small and big plastic pieces. It is a very small beach with only half of it coverd in sand, the rest big rocks. There are only few sunbeds and it quickly gets crowded. I reccomend not going during the weekend. The sunbeds were 10€ + addditional 3.5€ for an extra bed, which I find is quite pricy for the location and the facilities.

Listed as one of the good beaches on the east of Crete for no good reason. Do not believe every "Best of ..." lists on the internet, some of them are prepared lies to attract tourists and get their money. We were disappointed when we parked the car on street above late afternoon, because parking down there was narrow, difficult and the whole beach is occupied by expensive umbrellas. It was crowded even in the late afternoon due to people who paid dearly for umbrellas and wanted to stay longer than usual. The descent to the beach is steep. There is a cafeteria above and a shower in the middle of the beach. The water looks nothing like special at all, a bit murky and just some waves. We decided to look for another beach with more space and left without going into water.
