A small town with a mix of rich history and sandy beaches, Village of Lindos was established by the Dorians about 3,000 years ago (though local legend claims the settlement was founded long before that by one of Zeus' divine sons). Although it contains an age-old acropolis, the town's main attraction remain its traditional whitewashed buildings and pedestrian-friendly backstreets.
