  • The 2 euro ticket says ‘Holy Monastery of Kardiotissa’. It doesn’t take long to look around. It looks like the buildings and grounds are very well maintained. Ladies need to have covered shoulders...

  • We visited the place on a Sunday morning. I was amazed by the kindness of the nuns who offered us water and soft drinks. They also told us about the history of the place and the once secret schools that hide in the walls of the monastery. The people there had such a good vibe and it was a perfect Sunday atmosphere with laughs and good energy. In the shop you can find products made by the nuns themselves: ointments, oils, herbal tea mixtures, lip balms.
  • Amazing place and area. So so peaceful
  • Such Holy place dedicated to Archangel Michael. It is run by sisters and they are very hospitable..Go on Sunday for liturgy and then have a nice coffee...
  • Beautiful place, you can also buy local products made by nuns in the monastery. Highly recommended to do so as you support them.
  • This place is nothing crazy to see, but the peace we felt is priceless. 5 nuns living there are super friendly, guiding you and giving all the info. Shop at the end is totally worth, with money you spend you support nuns and the products (lip balms, oils, herbs, wine) are just amazing.
