  • Being in Ancient Nemea was like walking through history and I was very happy that I made the time to stop and explore while in the area.

  • A very interesting site even though it hasn't many things to see. But it has something that many other places don't, it lets you wonder inside the Temple feeling how would it be if you lived at that time. Something more interesting and amazing is the people there. They have revived the ancient games and have dedicated a lot of time and energy in it. This place is more than meets the eye.
  • Worth a visit. Mid-size site with a pretty amazing set of pillars still standing. The museum is good, and also drive over to the Stadium, not far to the east.
  • Well worth a visit. Very well maintained site. Combined ticket for this site (including museum) and Nemea Stadium. €4 EU, €6 non EU. Extensive ruins and very interesting explanation of how they restore the columns. Highly recommended
  • The very well-kept excavation site welcomes us with a museum in the style of the 1960s. Architecture, information signs and visitor guidance have remained in the 1960s and early 1970s, which today has its special charm again. The center of the excavation is a mighty Zeus temple from the 4th century. In ancient times, Nemea was the site of the Nemean Games, which were held every two years in honor of Zeus. In addition to the great temple, there is also a perfectly excavated stadium with access tunnel, changing rooms and starting blocks about 500 m away. Even a water canal running around the stadium should serve as a refreshment for the athletes.
  • Wow!!! It is unbelievable that you can walk freely through the Nemeas ' ancient temple!!! It is my first time I was permitted to walk and touch an ancient temple!!! Oh my God it was magical!!! 😍😍😍 You can feel the energy....
